Information about residence permits with temporary protection
You are advised to visit the Swedish Migration Agency as soon as possible upon your arrival. If you are in need of for example housing, financial support, or medical care, you need to apply for a residence permit with temporary protection. If you have children with you, you will need the residence permit in order for your children to have the right to education in Sweden.

Du som får uppehållstillstånd enligt massflyktsdirektivet blir inte folkbokförd i Sverige och kan därför inte få ett svenskt personnummer. Däremot kan du ansöka om ett svenskt samordningsnummer. Vård och vaccination till dig som kommer från Ukraina/Care and vaccination tor those who come from Ukraine
Du som kommer till Sverige på flykt från Ukraina erbjuds samma sjukvård och tandvård som asylsökande. För att få tillgång till den vården behöver du först registrera dig hos Migrationsverket. Det gäller både barn och vuxna. Då får du också erbjudande om en hälsoundersökning från hälso– och sjukvården.
Du får ett uppehållstillståndskort när du registrerar dig hos Migrationsverket. Det kallas också UT-kort. Du ska visa kortet när du söker vård. Det gäller både barn och vuxna.
Du erbjuds gratis vaccination mot covid-19. Alla personer som har fyllt 12 år erbjuds vaccination.

Care and vaccination for those who come from Ukraine
You who come to Sweden on the run from Ukraine are offered the same medical care and dental care as asylum seekers. To gain access to that care, you first need to register with the Swedish Migration Board. This applies to both children and adults. Then you will also be offered a health examination from the health service.
You will receive a residence permit card when you register with the Swedish Migration Board. It is also called UT card. You must show the card when you seek care. This applies to both children and adults.
You are offered free vaccination against covid-19. All persons who have reached the age of 12 are offered vaccination.

Har du kommit till Sverige med barn?/Have you just arrived in Sweden with a child?
Alla barn och ungdomar har rätt till utbildning. Kommunen ansvarar för att ge asylsökande och de som har tillfälligt uppehållstillstånd enligt massflyktsdirektivet som bor i Söderköping möjlighet att gå i skolan.
Barnen har ingen skolplikt men har rätt att gå i skola från och med höstterminen året de fyller sex år. Allmän förskola gäller från höstterminen det år de fyller 3 år.
